Ok so yeah this is a rant so if you're not on bored with my opinion its whatever but anyway yeah here; so basically I've applied to a bunch of places and you know I'm a pretty blank slate I don't really have any hobbies II don't have any goals I'm just an average person who's graduated highschool with average grades 'm just looking for a place to work and make money and it seems like thats specifically what every place is NOT looking for. It seems like any standard place thats hiring specifically only wants people that have previously worked in that spot or worked in a place similar and that in it self is difficult. It's like getting a job is in a loop of: "you want a job you need experience but you need a job to have experience" and sometimes it seems like the only way into that loop is through a family member or someone thats already in there. Seem like that for anyone else or just me?
Note: I've done internships and I'm pretty sure they still don't care. (internships was from my school to do grocery and volunteer work unpaid) |

| Thats why its a nightmare for graduates to get a job, everywhere requires experience to work there and nowhere will give you a chance to work to gain experience to make you more employable. Nowadays unless you have experiece youre practically unemployable, unless you have a degree or some form of qualification in a specific field |

If you live in a moderately big area(100K+ people in the town) you could find a security gig. They have high turn overs and most companies are happy with a no experience G.E.D kind of person.
The only issue is lack of pay. But it can float you for awhile while you look for something more career oriented. I got kind of lucky with my gig. $3K a month where I just play on my phone all day and do little actual work. Most Security in my area get paid $12/hour as the median, but there are a lot of security companies in my area as I could get an offer for about 20 new jobs in the hour. |

| Go to job.spectrum.com and apply for a field technician or retail position. Check if they are doing hiring events in your area(jobs.spectrum.com/recruiting-events). I attended one a couple of weeks ago and got the job as a field technician. I just graduated high school last year. |

| You gotta start from the bottom, fast food restuarants will take anyone on board so start there, work there a couple of months and start searching again because once you have a little bit of experience, you should find it easier, plus it's easier to find a job when you already have one. |

| Put in applications and make sure to keep in contact with the place so you can find out when is you're interview, most places you have to constantly call to figure out when will you be hire. Good luck job hunting |

Getting a job is hard but you just gotta look in the right places at the right times and... also know people.
As shitty as it is, most of my friends/people I've encountered got their job from knowing someone in that job or getting recommended by you guessed it, your previous job. In your case you've never had one so I'd say places that are seasonal are your best bet at the moment, yes you'll get let go eventually (around 6 months) but you'll gain "experience" in said job. Making it easier for you in the long run. |

I'm from ohio and i signed up for a thing called OMJ (ohio means jobs) and its a couple of classes from 8am-1pm that pretty much helps you out with building your resume from the ground up.
They also paid me 200$ to attend their classes. After i finished, they immediately got me into a temp agency job at a bakery not even a day later. Worked there for 3 weeks with no taxes and came out with a little starter cash. Came out with a nice looking resume, good work ethics, they gave me practice on interviewing and how to get call backs and so on. If there's 1 tip i can give is always go there in person to apply. A lot will say "oh we don't do that you have to go online" but showing up is huge because once you apply online, you can easily go back a week later and tell them you applied and they usually give you a interview on the spot (as long as you look presentable) It's truly hard out there at the start with no experience, a lot of jobs expect kids to come out of highschool with 6 months experience under their belt and no one wants to work fast food (well i didn't) |
