Good afternoon for some & the rest I don't know haha. So I recently got a decent check for $2,300 & I been treating myself well I wouldn't call it treating myself fully but I haven't been able to actually catch up on things that I needed lately. For instance, I haven't been shopping for clothes in a year I can honestly say I haven't got any new clothes in a year as well with some shoes. Don't get me wrong I don't like all the fancy and expensive clothes I wear American Eagle and Old Navy not the highest brand out there.

I will say that I went and purchased a new gun & actually went to apply for my carrying license & I wanted to do that for years as well. I just see this as something I can finally do what I needed and wanted to do over the years & so far I spent a little over $800.

What I'm trying to get at is should I feel bad if I spend almost all of it on things I really need & YES ALL THE BILLS ARE CAUGHT UP AS WELL.

Sorry for the long post

Haha like the past year or so I just been helping out my gma with bills & the jobs I been working I can't really buy what I want without going broke from my paychecks. Yes I haven't bought any new clothes or shoes for over a few years now. Honestly I can say I been wearing a pair of boots I bought from old navy for three years NO JOKE.

Self defense , me and my girlfriend stay together along with our two little girls so I just wanted to buy something for protection & also for her to use if I'm at work & something happens.....you never know nowadays & I just want my family to feel and be safe.

I don't know why you feel bad at all. You should have been treating yourself the way you want to live, not limiting yourself to strict living budgets unless you like living that way.
