Mikey, I require your guidance.

I currently weigh 11st 1lb (height 5' 11") with 7% of body fat. As you can sort of picture, I'm quite tall but skinny. I've been hitting the gym for 3 months, going 4 days a week to try and achieve the 2.0 version of myself. Daily, I'll consume in excess of 4,000 calories. 3,000 are from meals and snacking, with 1000 calories coming from a single shake (I try not to depend on bulking with liquids). I put in a lot of effort with the gym, but my gains are slow. Do you have any advice as to what I could do to put on more muscle? My metabolism is like lightening and I've tried to 'dirty bulk' also, but my body will retain itself and shred anything I give it.

I very much doubt your 7% but anyways.

You pretty much the same weight as me when I started 3 months ago mate, so you should be putting on some size at least. It's probably coming down to how hard you are training and your diet. You don't need 4000 calories, your literally just need to get in a calories surplus. I'd recommend just 500 calories so total 3000 for the day. As for the supplement you said, that is shit with tons of sugar, just eat foods, it is very easy to get in 3000 calories in a day. Example: 100g oats, table spoon peanut butter, 50g whey, 250ml whole milk gets you 1000 calories lol. Another I have is 200g of granola (oats) with whole milk and that's another 1000 calories lol. So easy man, another thing you wanna 100% make sure is that you get enough protein in as well as carbs. Make sure you get 1 gram of protein for every pound you weigh, in your case at least 155 grams of protein in a day. You can bulk all you like man, but if you ain't getting some clean protein in you won't build any muscle.
