I have booked a day in September to go to Black Knights Parachute Centre and I have always wanted to do just to feel the experience and now that I have booked it im scared.
Just wondering if I should go through with it or if anyone has any tips on how to approach it confidently

I had the same deal when I booked mine you end up over thinking it.

What I did was watch alot of Go Pro cam footage of Sky diving so I knew what to expect as that was the biggest worry.

The biggest take away and the oddest thing about when you leave the plane you don't feel like your falling at all you just feel like your floating and the ground does not seem to be rushing towards you at all its like your just stuck floating.

Do it trust me its the biggest rush you will ever have you won't be able to sit still for hours after.

Squat
Pray
Leap
AAAHHHH
Touchdown

Or "splat" for short.

But no for real I've been skydiving many times, if it's your first time, it's going to be tandem, so you'll be strapped to someone else who's controlling the show, just express your concern about harness strength and they'll probably go into detail on the amount of jumps they've made, their stats so to speak, how long they've been doing it, things like that.

After my first 7 jumps, I went on my own, and it's definitely a completely different feeling, as your life is in your own hands, there's no training wheels anymore.

It's definitely adrenaline inducing, 10/10 would do again, still getting my life back together though lol

I'll err... link my footage of when I went. Just remember... I got a lot cuter since then

My advice - Don't think. Just do. So when you get there, you'll see people start falling out of the sky. This is when you get excited and all your nerves fall away. Well they did for me anyway. You get to a point where you just want to do it and it really isn't long after that you do actually get to fall out of a plane.

The fall itself is so relaxing; it's hard to explain. There's so much going on, you don't have time to grasp what's going on. You just enjoy the feeling and the views around you.

Enjoy it and make sure you have plenty of money because once you've been once, you'll want to do a full time course!

Good luck man. I don't have the balls to do that. But if you're going, just remember to breathe. And enjoy yourself

It's ideal to pull the parachute before hitting the ground.

i've only been indoor skydiving.
