Simply put. It's dead for sales. It is fine if your modding just for fun.

Free lobbies are popping

A lot of people expect free lobbies

It's weird to pay for such old games

It's not dying, it's on it's last limb.
Modding is basically dead at this point, mainly cause next gen mods do not exist.

I wouldn't say dead, there's just not as much demand for modders

It is dying, sadly. I wish something could revive it, but I don't see any new gen consoles getting modded any time soon if at all. If it were to happen I have a feeling it's gonna cost your first born child and your family pet to even run the services. Nevertheless I hope for the best.

Kensi wrote Touching on what ttg said it does cost a lot a month to run a console it always has but people always assumed that we are all stuck up for running paid services when it's not the case as a community we try and help everyone with cheap prices for certain games or free mods every now and again, the modding scene is still alive thoo

I think there's just not as much demand for modders because the games are old

As far as the modding scene goes, it is very much alive.
As far as hosting lobbies goes, it's beyond dead.

From my personal experience when hosting lobbies on TTG it could take numerous hours before even one person requested anything--even when I hosted for free--and therefore I just ended up closing my thread.
What people don't realise about modders is that it costs for us to get online, they expect shit for free simply because the games are old and therefore they see it as "OMG you're charging for a game released x amount of years ago... get a real job".

It isn't a job, it's a hobby. A hobby that costs quite a bit and makes absolutely zero profit.
