I think players are starting to realize how dangerous football is and are content to leave once they have enough financial stability.

After watching a couple of his interviews I can understand why he retired so early. Hes not having fun being hurt all the time. I hope he recovers as much as possible and comes back later down the road

I thought this was an insane decision, but I don't blame him. 29 years old several injuries and made a lot of money. The classless fans who booed him are lame though.

Exactly, I understand the fans being upset due to him just leaving when they could've had a truly successful season but honestly do you want a life-time of body pain and other injuries that could happen.

Yeah I watched a documentary on how a huge majority of NFL players have serious brain trauma. It's really talked about as much as it should be. He's done the right thing in my opinion
