Hi all, I am not sure if this is the correct threat to post this, so please let me know if it is not.

This is the first time I am building a gaming PC, and I connected everything correctly with a help from a friend and when we try to start up the PC, it is stuck on VGA and nothing is displayed on the monitor.

We took it apart and put it back together with the same issue. I returned the motherboard and processor and got replacements, and still the same issue.

I searched through the web and tried some of the troubleshooting I found, but the issue still remains.

I am not an expert on building gaming PC's by any means, so any help will be appreciated!

My build is below:

Motherboard: MSI Performance Gaming AMD Ryzen 1st and 2nd Gen AM4 M.2 USB 3 DDR4 HDMI Display Port Mini-ITX Motherboard (B450I Gaming Plus AC)

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler - YD2600BBAFBOX

Graphics Card: PowerColor Red Dragon Radeon RX 570 AXRX 570 4GBD5-3DHD/OC

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 Desktop Memory Kit - Black (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15)

SSD: Kingston 240GB A400 SSD 2.5'' SATA 7MM 2.5-Inch SA400S37/240G

HDD: WD Blue 2TB PC Hard Drive - 5400 RPM Class, SATA 6 Gb/s, 256 MB Cache, 3.5" - WD20EZAZ

Case: Thermaltake Core V1 SPCC Mini ITX Cube Gaming Computer Case Chassis, Interchangeable Side Panels, Black Edition, CA-1B8-00S1WN-00

Power Supply: Corsair CX Series 650 Watt 80 Plus Bronze Modular Power Supply (CP-9020103-NA)

Just to double check, you are plugging in your monitor to the graphics card and not the mother oard right

I'm quite confused how you are "stuck on VGA" if you say nothing is displayed on the monitor - How do you know the PC is using the VGA port if nothing is being displayed.

I want to say it's something simple like you need to change the source on your monitor to HDMI / DisplayPort / whatever.
