So I am copying this build that I found on Youtube but I wanna upgrade the Ryzen 5 with a Ryzen 7, would I be able to keep all of the other components the same?

Invest in an AIO water cooler if you're going with Ryzen 7, they work fantastic but they can run a bit hot.

Also, while the RX cards are good, they do run a bit hot as well for my liking, it's like AMD is designed to red line, but it seems to handle the heat just fine, but it's still an area of concern for me with their graphics cards

One thing i'd like to add I have an AIO cooler and it runs hotter at idle than It did when I had the stock cooler (i have an intel cpu not a ryzen/amd) But from my experience if you treat your room like it's a freezer like me i'd stick with the stock cooler, or a heatsync.

An AIO water cooler isn't a necessity at all. Any CPU is going to heat up more when you are utilising its capabilities, air coolers are just as sufficient.

I have a Ryzen 7 2700X and even when gaming at max settings, I barely hear my CPU fan going (I'm using a Dark Rock Pro 4 for relevance). I would recommend getting an aftermarket cooler but the Wraith Spire will be 'good enough'.

For the rest of the build, I would highly recommend getting either a 500GB SSD or getting an additional bit of storage (e.g. a 1TB HDD) because you will run out of storage very quickly with only 250GB.

This is basically my plan.

For sure, I was planning on getting a 1TB HDD I'm not sure why I didn't put it on the list, I was mainly just gonna use the SSD to install my OS on

Yeah, you definitely don't need an AIO for Ryzen. Ryzen CPU's are more efficient than some Intel SKU's. A decent mid-range air cooler is more than adequate unless maybe you're considering an R9 3950x. The stock cooler with an R5 or R7 SKU will be perfectly sufficient, even if you decide to overclock.

The price for the RAM and SSD aren't listed, and you've decided to go from a $200 GPU to a $350 GPU? I wouldn't get the 250GB 850 EVO anyway, it's usually the same price as some 480-512GB SSD's. I'd also change the RAM- TridentZ RGB or Vengeance RGB Pro are much nicer.

What is your actual budget here?
What monitor(s) are you using?
What exactly is the system going to be used for?

What is your actual budget here? Around $1,000-$1,400
What monitor(s) are you using? I haven't picked these out yet but I deff want to have dual monitors
What exactly is the system going to be used for? Fortnite, streaming, recording youtube videos, editing videos, and possibly making beats and music but I use my laptop for that at the moment.

This is what I am going with now pcpartpicker.com/list/3wsTsZ

$1000-1400 including monitors then? Or are you buying monitors outside of this budget? If $1000-1400 is just for the system, how much are you planning on spending on monitors?

I'd definitely be looking at Zen 2 CPU's, either an R5 3600 or R7 3700x. That said, the 2700x for $150 is an absolute steal.

Just for the PC build, I will buy all of parts separate, I may check Facebook marketplace/Craigslist etc for some deals.

And yeah I don't think I'll actually be able to get it for $150, it says that on the list but the cheapest I can find it is like $220 which is still pretty good.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($199.00 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI - B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard ($134.89 @ OutletPC)
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($69.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Intel - 660p Series 1.02 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($84.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB SC ULTRA GAMING Video Card ($339.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Cooler Master - MasterCase H500 ATX Mid Tower Case ($99.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: SeaSonic - FOCUS Plus Gold 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($74.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $1003.84

It looks like all the mid range B450 motherboards are sold out at reasonable prices, seems everyone is buying them for Zen 2 lol. I'd wait for the B450 Tomahawk to come back in stock for $110/115 and grab it then.

I'd be looking at Zen 2 for the IPC, so if 6C/12T is enough for you then the R5 3600 is great. If you're wanting 8C/16T though, then yeah even for $220 the R7 2700 is solid. It's kinda hard to justify the extra $100 for the 3700x. Amazon have the 2700 for $200 now it seems;
amazon.com/dp/B07B41717Z/?tag=pcpapi-20
I think $150 was the prime day sale price. B&H even have the 2700x for $250, which is decent(though I think I'd rather just save the $50 and get the 2700);
bhphotovideo.com/c/product/140463...2700x.html

AIB RX 5700's should start coming out in the next 2-4 weeks, and cost about the same as an RTX 2060 so it might be worth holding off for one of those, maybe even an RX 5700XT which is more in line with RTX 2070 performance.

I'd be looking at 1440p 144Hz displays to pair with this system, maybe even 3440x1440 since you're wanting dual monitors.

Viotek 3440x1440 100Hz
MSI 3440x1440 100Hz
Viotek 1440p 144Hz
Those are the monitors I'd be looking at probably, all 3 of which have Freesync and are VA panels.
