I am formatting my computer, I am struggling to decide on which windows to install.
Windows 10 does not ask the user whether to install updates or not.

Let me know your views on which to choose a version of the window.

Thanks

Well I've always used Win7 and still do. However windows7 updates and security are stopping in 2020 so this means that you will probably be wanting to upgrade to Win10 anyways.

So i'd go for Win10.

This video will probably help you decide:

I love Windows 7 but as @JZX said they're not gonna support it as of 2020 so you're best just to use Windows 10.

Regardless I am still always gonna love 7.

Windows 10 is unquestionably better in some regards: faster and better support etc.

However, for me, it took a lot of tweaking to get it to a "usable" state. For example disabling telemetry and removing horrible pre-installed apps (although I think this has improved somewhat in the latest builds for first-time install).

If you can, I'd recommend trying to get an Enterprise or Education version. Both offer more functionality than the Pro version. Most of it is not useful for me, other than the fact that in Enterprise/Education you can completely disable telemetry in the Group Policy Editor (something you cannot do in the Pro version).

Education licenses are available at many schools and universities.

Windows 7 is said to be retiring by 2020,so Windows 10 is the best option, that is why i installed Windows 10,from a Windows installation disc to install Windows 10 is safest.
[Minimum post requirement for links] From here you will get one to install Windows 10.
