i want a lockscreen that tells me i have a text/fb msg from the person, but doesn't allow me to read the msg until my phone is unlocked.
i currently have an s8 and it tells me i have a text, but doesn't even tell me who it's from unless i unlock it. i want to know who it's from, but not see the msg if that makes sense? |

From the Home screen, touch and swipe up or down to display all apps.
Note These instructions apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Lock screen Security icon. Tap Notifications. Note This setting is only available if a Screen lock type is set up. Note Notifications must be turned on Switch on to access setup. Tap Hide content to turn on Switch on or off Switch off. Tap Show notifications from then tap All apps to turn on or off. Note To adjust notification settings for individual apps, tap the corresponding switch on or off. |
