I have never needed to drive however over the lat few months its become a major problem. Now i have sort of narrowed it down to 2 cars id like. Please bare in mind i live in UK & where i live i need a moderately bigger than usual engine. Something over 1.5 but below 2.0.

My main (ive always wanted): Vauxhall Astra 1.6, 70K miles 2009 reg.

Second option: (a tad over the price i can currently afford) Audi A1 - 2008-9 1.6 with 90K miles.

I also am 24 coming up to 25, so insurance isnt to mad.

Any advice? Cars i can consider?

Budget £1,000-4,500 (UK)
$1250-5,500 (US)

Both are great cars but keep in mind if you go for the audi to have some money set aside for maintenance, especially since its at 90k miles you will most definitely have to account for maintenance costs on the vehicle.

Abarth Punto Evo Sport, Great car and it's really cheap on insurance. My friend had 1 for a while. Hoping for it to be my first car.

This.. Audis around 100k miles start having issues and never stop.

I wouldnt suggest getting one if its already slightly out of your budget

Depends how rich you are lol, you end up paying twice as much on insurance than any car you get, had a 1.1 Clio paying 2.6 k a year insurance, times was hard lol
