| So i've just got a new set of studio monitors and i have my decks in my room (DDJ-1000) however it is a nuesence to the rest of the house and im assuming my neighbours to as even on low volumes the bass can be heard through all the walls. Can i buy some sort of soundproofing to stop this thats not too expensive? Thanks |

Your best chance is to add some changes in your current setup
In my experience you have to follow these steps Step1: install double glazed soundproofing windows on the internal side of the conserved shophouse. Step 2: install false ceiling with mufflers. Step 3: install retractable awnings at 1st storey to contain the noise. Step 4: engage a Noise Assessment specialist. Trial run a few minutes of music at a certain volume and record the decibels. Hopefully this will help |
