Mechanics make good money. That's what I do now. I work for a Dodge dealership and specialize in performance. Not s lot of performance cars in my area but a good pay boost after the training.

I work for the Secret Service as a paid intern and I get GS-05 which is about $16.50/hour. Special Agents make around $130,000 a year and that is base pay. Within 5 years of becoming Special Agent, you get max pay which is the $130,000. Sometimes its higher depending on where you are located.

If you're looking for a good job that pays well without a certificate or degree the postal service is for you. They start you around $17 (at least where I live, it might vary)

Trades are great too, plumbing, electrical, etc. are all high demand careers that pay very well without needing a whole lot of schooling.

Look into sales. There's always a surplus of jobs and as you get better sky is the limit. I work in Medical sales and love it. Find what you love and sell it for a company.
