Totally should be awesome, their putting a lot of money into the game, and a brand new engine on top of it all.

The Blair Witch game seems somewhat amusing in terms of a jump-scare short game that you can play, but honestly isn't all too exciting especially with it being single player. I think it would have been an improvement if the game allowed for co-op story just so that the gameplay would continue to be entertaining however many times you play it, when you play with different people. The price is standard with it being half the price of a regular game, but I would expect the price to drop down to half by the end of Summer simply because it is limited to single player.

I was initially on the fence about buying in to Gears 5, but honestly after getting to see the trailer I think I will end up making use of the Xbox Game Pass to play it until the prices drops a bit or it goes on sale. I like the series, but for me, the enjoyment burns out, or my interested it diverted by other game releases. The campaign is going to be very interesting in terms of getting more backstory on the beloved characters as well as the origin of the Locust, and I think playing as Kait instead of Marcus will be a nice change.

12 Minutes greatly reminds of the Netflix original film ARQ whereby you have the protagonist stuck in a time loop who attempts to break out of it over and over (Spoiler alert, paradox). The game is somewhat interesting in terms of the plot of the game and the potential for the story, but I do not think it will be anything amazing, just one of those games you play when you have nothing else to do. If the price of the game is cheap enough I may buy it simply because I do enjoy the time travel/manipulation/paradox genre.

Crossfire X looks good, maybe a mix between Battlefield, Call of Duty and Homefront in terms of the campaign, and then a sprinkle of CS:GO and Rainbow Six for the multiplayer side. Coming next year, this could well be a new contender for the FPS genre as it predominantly holds high across Asian countries with its original game release back in 2007, and still holding a high 7m+ concurrent userbase. The original Crossfire is the reason why we got Call of Duty Online in terms of Activision attempting to compete with the game. With Call of Duty becoming rather dull now with each release, I am looking forward to seeing something new from a different developer.

As for the story behind the game, you supposedly have two factions, a private military group called Global Risk, and the terrorist organisation Black List. With the cinematic trailer it seems that the campaign is going to span across multiple different locations, and hopefully, because we have a terrorist group, we will get some populated urban missions just to make things more hectic. Looking forward to gameplay reveals in the future so as to get a chance to see how the game plays.

Tales of Arise's trailer looks visually stunning, and as a JRPG, will be thoroughly enjoyable for those who enjoy the genre. Hopefully it won't be too long of a wait until we get some more trailers and gameplay footage to get an even better feel of what to expect from the game. In the meantime however, it seems worthwhile to check out Tales of Berseria which was the previous game title from the developer in the franchise.

Below is a quote on how Bandai Namco Entertainment have described this game:
Tales of Arise takes place in a solar system containing the two neighbouring planets of Dahna and Rena. The inhabitants of Dahna have always paid reverence to their planetary neighbours on Rena - a planet they can clearly see in their sky - as a land of the righteous and divine. For the people of Dahna, legends and lore about Rena and its inhabitants have been handed down for countless generations, and through time, have become facts in their minds that have actually masked a cruel reality for the people of Dahna. For 300 years, the people of Rena have ruled over Dahna, pillaging the planet of its resources and stripping its people of their dignity and freedom. Tales of Arise begins with two people, born on different worlds, each longing to change their fate and create a new future for themselves and perhaps their people. Featuring an original cast of characters, a dramatic storyline, dynamic combat, breath-taking environments, with some classic Tales Of elements included; Tales of Arise marks a new beginning for the famed JRPG franchise.
