If you haven't played Dragon Quest XI, I would seriously jump on it when you can. The full game complete story wise will probably take you about 130 hours, maybe more if you do side quests or need to grind and it's not a bad 130 hours either. There are 3 story arces, all are the main story and they did it right. It wasn't just filler like "oh here's one dungeon with a new boss but we're going to make it grind as hell to get through" no, it's 3 new stories that link in the what happens within the first arc with new bosses and 2 main villian. The bosses though get a stupid increase in level up and damage compared to enemies near around, like for the final final boss, I grinded to 99 for everyone, almost perfect gear and he was still hitting most characters for 1/5th of their HP, but then again I don't use spells or magic buffs, so just a fair warning if bosses become a hassle at one point.

TaigaAisaka wrote Square Enix is probably going to have one of the better E3 shows because they seem like they have or at least should have a bunch lined up for them. Final Fantasy 7 is of course going to be the biggest one people will be talking about since a trailer dropped recently, will probably have another trailer at E3, maybe gameplay and hopefully a release date. Then onto other projects. NieR:Automata has just been confirmed to have surpassed 4 million sales and while I think content for NieR:Automata is done (besides the Game of the Yorha Edition coming out) I think this would be a great time to announce remakes/remaster of either the original NieR and/or Drakengard since Automata brought a bunch of new fans to the series, even though Automata isn't a full on direct connection to the others, they still do share a few character references and it is together in a timeline, just so far separated it's unreal. Dragon Quest is also probably going to get some love at E3, Dragon Quest XI wrapped up a year ago and already an animated movie for Dragon Quest has been announced - plus rumours of DLC 2 for Smash Ultimate being someone representing the Dragon Quest series, I have no doubt something Dragon Quest related is coming. Ocotpath Traveler will more than likely get mentioned since it's coming to Steam soon, so probably something to do with DLC or future plans. Lastly, I'm kinda hopping, but not holding my breathe, some sort of announcement about where they're going to go with Tomb Raider. The past 3 games were the prequels/Lara's origin story that they wanted to do, so hopefully they'll want to continue on with newer games.

I love Dragon Quest glad they are coming out with a new one. I am sure they will continue for Tomb Raider if they are working on all her games, it might need to be maybe 5 games total spamming over. Hmm didn't know they were doing a DLC for Smash Ultimate as well.

Me too... this is seems like a good year.. I'm looking forward to so many games this year and I'm very excited

I think this will be their year. So excited to see all of it. All the games being released and details. Everything seems more better than last year. Plus more big game titles coming out to.

Yeah I think so too... I think a lot of others are gonna do great as well.. I'm just really excited! Can't wait

I agree with both of you a great year for many great games. Even if they had to shirt merch I'd even buy one for this E3 this year.

Yeah and the RPG games. But I'll admit Dragon Quest is good. And the fighting style and magic as well.

Ah you don't like the RPG style where you can use magic and weapons? Example, Fable 3 you got a sword or gun and could use magic.

I like RPGs like that, Tales of Zestiria and Tales of Berseria you have to use a lot of magic with some characters being brawler or sword fighter, and the HyperDimension Neptunia series, magic/gun users are typically some of the better and more fun to play with their combos and spells. Dragon Quest is just somewhat unsafe for doing buffs and debuffs on the enemy at times because of RNG. Some bosses get to attack 2 or 3 times in one turn and a lot of the buff and debuff moves seems to move slower, which could cost you a teammate with bad RNG. Like the final final boss has 2 sweeping moves that hits all teammates, a summoning move where you need to kill the enemies that are summoned quickly or your job becomes harder, he has a few solo target moves that do enough damage to make you hope you don't get hit twice, spell moves, a magic reflector, where any magic or spells are hit back at you and an absorber that either steals stat increases or MP to recover HP and he'll use 1-3 of those moves per turn. Some other bosses have variation sof those, so I kinda just got into the habit of all out attacking instead of setting up and it made the game hard at some fights, but I would rather that then having some dumb RNG make my life harder lol

I remember when this was added to Xbox live games with gold, played the game till the very end, great story and awesome graphics for the time. Tried the other Tomb Raiders after it and felt kinda stale and a rushed product.

ive just checked out the trailer and will probbaly grab it on payday

Definitely do! Like I said, it can be a grind at times, some bosses are just straight up unfair at times due to RNG. The story, in my eyes isn't the best story out there if we compare it to something like NieR:Automata, Tales of Berseria or even the Ys series, but it's definitely an interesting one, seeing it break up into 3 arcs and getting to basically expierence a whole new story while still holding remembrance to the other chapters.

If you ever get stuck on it and need a save file, because you just want to get through the game, I can probably put mine into New Game+, quickly run to wherever you're at in yours and give you the save file so you're maxed level, best equipment and just speed run the game lol

Also have to agree on that. The games are good and so are the series. But it seems like they are throwing out to many Tomb Raiders all at once. They have so many out right now.

I have yet to even play the other Tomb Raiders ones besides number One. Just seems like it got to be redundant at times.

The original was pretty fun. Brings back cool memories back in the day playing number one.
