On a scale of 1-10, how strict were your parents?


I'd say my mom was a 1 I never really got into trouble, I did what I wanted and my mom didn't care. We where like best friends than mother and daughter.

I never really did anything to warrant punishment so didn't have to worry about it really.

The unspoken agreement was that if I ever got arrested, I better not call them.

probably like a 4 because my older siblings messed up some things for me when i grew up. I couldn't get my licence until 18 because my sister racked up too many tickets when she was 16. I had a bedtime at 10:00 because my brother never got up on time for school. I also couldn't sleep over friends houses, but growing up i can understand. There's some crazy people out there.

Game violence wasn't much of a problem, i was playing things like house of the dead when i was 6-7 years old.

I think when i hit 14 i didn't have a bedtime any more, and even though i turned 18 i never even wanted my licence because i had a free bus pass and i didn't have a job for a car.

Besides that. My mother was pretty chill with anything i did, as long as i came home with A's which was pretty easy.

I would probably say a 1 in my household. My parents didn't care if i went over to people's houses and came home later. Just as long as I told them where I was was and if I was going anywhere else. Never really got into trouble growing up so I had very trustworthy and non over protective parents.

Dont know where id scale them but if i ask for something they genrally dont say no tho i dont ask for much, i have been grounded for one month twice at different times for different reasons id say they use to be strict when i was a kid by hitting me and grounding me but now that im older i dont even get shouted at mabey they might use a cheecky tone but generally they dont raise thier voice at me

So a 1 now and a 8 when i was a kid

I'd say around 6-8. My parents were quite strict during my upbringing but toned down as I got older.

Obviously more strict when I was younger but the neighborhood I live in is a pretty small area with really once you get back here there is only one way in and one way out so they got pretty chill about it but I would still say like 6/10 they were still on my ass.
