I just got my RGH updated to 17526. Everything went well and it works however after I put the files from NiNJAs site onto my HDD it will not connect to the NiNJA servers. It says:

Cannot connect to the NiNJA service.....
Please troubleshoot your network connection

I have my RGH plugged into my laptop via ethernet while the laptop is connected via wifi. I used to do this along time ago but have forgotten how since. I know its something to do with sharing the connection on the laptop but i am not sure how.... I did right click properties on the "unidentified network (ethernet)" and share it but it still wont connect and tell me that I need more ninja time like it always did before.

Any advice would be great.... Thanks. Sorry for spamming forum so much.

I think you'd need to right click on whatever connection your laptop is connected to and share it to the ethernet rather than right clicking the ethernet and sharing it

my laptop shows 2 connections. One ethernet and one for wifi. Guessing i need to make another connection point? Which one do i choose though?

I may have misunderstood you but in your original post you said you right clicked the ethernet (your RGH) and shared it, so based on that I was saying to right click your wifi adapter that your laptop uses to connect to the internet and share that with the ethernet (RGH)

should be okay, and when you used a VPN before you more than likely did the same exact thing, just rather than sharing the wifi connection you would have shared the VPN connection
