***No screen filters/glasses help me, I've tried it all***
I suffer from Migraines with an aura. I don't have them very often as I've learnt how to prevent it mostly by drinking plenty of water a day. But I can occasionally still get them, this affects everything. I can only go on a laptop/computer screen in the afternoon otherwise in the morning I will most likely get one therefore certain jobs that require screens I can't do. I want to know how do other people control it if they have jobs such as lorry driving, because if it suddenly comes (the aura) your vision is going to be effected and you'll have to stop driving... is there any way to stop it immediately? I'd love to be a lorry driver or another job that I don't have to worry about getting a migraine with an aura but I can't.. it effects everything in my life and was wondering how people handle it. I've tried many types of tablets, even an injection (sumatriptan or something) and they never work! Please help! Thank you |

I used to get migraines all the time, you just need to alter the screen brightness u till you can deal with it then surely as the months go on they will stop. Well they did from my experience! |

Damn dude that really sounds like it sucks,
could you do something like training support dogs or something like that? That way screens arent involved and you wont be in danger if you suddenly get one of the migraines. |

I had a lot of headaches to, how I fixed it was buying a new pillow. It helped a lot and almost never get a headache. Also for you being on the computer, you should be able to filter out the blue lighting. You can buy gamer glasses to help with this, or other things. |

My father had migraines bad, do not really know what triggers them but he had them so bad where his head would get so
Hot we would half to put frozen bags of ice on his head and he would melt the ice man. Sometimes he would throw up cause there so bad or even couldn't see through one of his eyes while having the migraine. He went to a doctor and they put the needles in his head multiple ones in his head and this stopped them for a while. He doesn't get them that much anymore maybe once a month or one every few months . That treatment helped out a lot. I suggest you going to see a good doctor man. I will warn you it is not cheap, we had to go out of town just to get the treatment man. These migraine aren't nothing to play with man, really are life threatening. Really recommend you going to see a doctor before they get worse man. Hope things get better for you. |

There is software you can download on computers to fix the brightness. I'm also pretty sure they make glasses to help with your issue |
