The way I see it is like this. If someone I've never spoken to before comes into the sb and has something interesting to say other than just "how is everyone" ill engage in a conversation. But asking how someone is today is the worst kind of small talk in the world.
Have something interesting to say and no one will be ignored. Also, we on an Internet forum during the day. How do you think the days going? |

I mean, people prefer to talk to people they are already friends with.
I can't speak for people that straight up ignore others, but sometimes I won't talk to people if I've never seen them before. People come to TTG stay for a day or 2, then disappear, so some people know it may not be worth it. With how much I'm in the sb or discord, I realize who is active, new, etc. here is an example, the member peer, I hadn't seen him much before then met him in the shoutbox a few days ago and he's a super chill guy, and I know other members see that. Then there is people that pop in, just post emojis, and don't do much else. No reason to talk to people like that. Maybe I'm just ranting... go into the sb and talk to people, if someone ignores you, who cares because if you're active and nice they will probably notice and talk to you |

I do not really ignore people, if they @ me I'll reply. People who ignore people or just do not @ them because of their Rep or Name, Years being on the site are just dumbasses tbh. i totally understand this post.
whenever i go into the shoutbox people normally just ignore anything i say because they either don't like me or don't know me. The thing is everyone keeps saying that they talk to people who they only know in the shoutout box but the thing is that everyone should be talking to each other in the shoutbox weather they know each other or not how are you going to get to know someone if you dont even put up any effort to try and get to know them?? |
