I don't know how to do that I've done many tutorials on it none worked and I paid $20 for it doing to cbd and it didn't get sorted.

When I boot into xell, half way through its telling me its trying to update something or connect to an server which it cant and it just attempts this over and over, is this normal or not?

- I don't think it will finish in xell, I was going to fix it.

yes it's normal. It's searching for a USB or ftp connection. If you have a USB with updflash.bin it will prompt you to flash the update or not. Also when you say that's happening halfway through, if it loads your fuse sets and your cpukey then it's loaded all the way. It will continue doing that searching for ftp server or .bin or .elf file until it finds one.

If you Google Xbox classic issues with RGH you will find a few different things to try. I can't post links here because they're from 7s but here is a post that may help

Final update: Fixed it.

Don't really know what I've done fixed it but I've done these:

Rather than using JRunner software, I used the latest 17511 XeBuild to make me an updflash.bin, flashed it.

FTP'd Dash Launch 3.18 to do some testing about XBL. Disabled LiveStrong and Liveblock.

Tried Xballing and XBDM. Console couldn't boot because of Xballing screwing up. Unplugged HDD and deleted launch.ini and Xballing + XBDM.

Back then when I used JRunner's nand building, I couldn't play the Installed (from DVD) games from Free Style, it asked for a DVD.

Now with the latest XeBuild image I created I can play those games without DVD in.

All in all, my Xbox Classics are now working :smile:

There is only one problem, that I can't get Title Updates from MS servers nor Free Style's included JQ360/Xbox Unity (I have a user name and linked my console)

Though I can get those files manually.

You don't have to open it up, that's for jr programmer. Jrunner is the PC application that builds your nand image, then you can flash it with a USB. I wouldn't advise fooling with the nand if you don't have much experience with it because you can brick it. If you do ened up doing it yourself just find a good video tutorial and go slow one step at a time.

Thanks I'll do that when I get up what time is it it's 4am over here I'm in the UK and I could do with help because I can't get the game I really want to play to work.
