Sorry old topic and I'm sure this isn't even a question for you anymore since you've probably already made up your mind a long time ago, but thought I'd pitch in some information for anybody else that is searching for feedback. So, about a year and a half ago, I decided to switch from the iPhone to the Android. It was super easy to switch and get use to, didn't have any problems whatsoever. However, my aux port stopped working after about 5 months.. the charger is a FEMALE plug.. which is so inconvenient because if you have charging issues with your phone, you can't simple just go and buy a new cheap charger like the iPhone.. since the Samsung have the male ports INSIDE the phone.. you'll have to send it in or take the phone apart yourself just to fix that. Only way to avoid that is to plug your phone in carefully every time, not like iphone where you can just stick it in no worries since you don't have to worry about bending anything inside the phone just to charge it. I also started having charging issues about the same time the AUX port started going out which actually completely stopped working and makes a scratching noise every time I plug it in. However with the iPhone, I don't see why people are complaining about not having aux ports because I'd rather listen to music and charge my phone at the same time with a small cord. It was also bad timing since I had bought a new car and had to drive across the country.. not knowing which roads to take since every bump would make my Samsung come off the charger even tho it was still plugged in.. iPhone charger's click in. Now don't get me wrong, Samsung has better quality pictures.. but try sending those pictures through text, pixelated af..? I don't understand. Other than those things, my Samsung was great. It just really stressed my out when driving across the country, having to stop just to charge my phone, then go 20 minutes later, then keep driving. Absolutely hated my Android and went right back to an iPhone, didn't even have my Android for more than 8 months.

Mikey wrote I never thought I would be going over to an Android, as I've been using the iPhone when it first launched back in 2007. I just always got so used to the IOS, I just never found the courage to leave my iPhone. But I'm just fed up with it now to be honest, the thing that annoys me the most, is now theirs now Aux jack on the new iPhone's. All the Aux adaptorS I have used have broke or have had problems with them. Not to mention the new iPhone is so expensive, and looks ugly asf lol. So I'm due an upgrade next month, and I just assumed id be getting the new iPhone X. But I was like, why? Still no Aux jack? and now gonna run me £80 a month for a contract, when Samsung is £58 a month. So i was doing some research on the Samsung S9 Plus, and it seems to me the better phone. better louder Speakers, better display, better battery, and more importantly it has a Aux Jack lol.

Has anyone here, gone from a iPhone to a Samsung S9 and how has the change been for you, better, worse?

Is the Android operating system easy to use and is it quick to pick up from IOS?

I was exactly the same bro!! I've just got the Samsung S10+ and couldn't be happier!

I've thought about switching to android for a while as well. The only thing that is stoping me is, everything i use, is practically apple. I guess I'm stuck in the apple ecosystem...
