So... Recently i've been trying to find that old feeling i used to get when playing games. You can laugh at me all you want but i know this will hit home for alot of you. You know that feeling of playing Minecraft at 1am when everyones asleep and your eyes are all watery just listening to that subtle piano play in the background or those nights of just playing W@W grinding for that sniper scope on the M1 Garand. That nostalgic feeling it just doesnt hit me anymore. I dont have that fun of playing games anymore and it sucks i think i grew up and i hate it! I want to feel those days again those were the best!!! Staying up with all of your friends trickshotting on MW2 i miss that i miss those feelings its sad to say that i just dont enjoy very many games anymore.

Am i the only one that is having this?

I know it sounds kind of dumb but its sad that i dont care for video games anymore.

I MISS BEING A KID!

I can relate in a way. I still game, but it's nothing like it used to be. It's kind of hard to explain but I definitely understand where you're coming from.

I feel ya, man do I feel ya.

I miss getting home from school and playing Halo 3 until 2am, grinding out MLG trying to be a pro when I was a little kid, then sleeping for 4 or 5 hours before school.

I miss playing Bo2 with my friend, staying up all night every night all summer going for sniping clips.

I miss Mw2, and going for nukes, and playing Team Tac with my friends from school and winning 100 games in a row, and screaming at the top of my lungs playing Michael Myers

I miss that Minecraft server my friends and I started that was actually pretty popular and I miss putting in hours days building massive stuff.

I just miss when me and all my friends on Xbox were young. When we had no jobs, no stress, no worries. We could game all night and laugh so hard we were basically working out. It's just not the same anymore. I still play with my friends from all those years ago, but it will never be the same

Oh my! Man i wish i could say that i still played with my old friends! My best friend on xbox as a kid and trick shotting buddy just recently took his life in a horrible way. The laughs me and that kid had i will never forget. the meme that goes:

I'll see you tomorrow have a good night.. We playing tomorrow after school? Yes.

That is truly what happened with him! Thankfully we somewhat kept in touch on FB. Man is it just sad to know that some of the amazing kids that i laughed with every day of my childhood, the kids that yelled and trolled in pub lobbys, the kids that literally were my best childhood friends took their life over the inner demon that they hid behind that laugh on the games we played!

The reason the grind felt so good is because we had other things in the way (school, after school activities, detention etc) and we had to make those games last because they either were releasing on 2 year intervals or i didn't get enough allowance to afford it, i had to wait for christmas and hope i put it at the top of my list. Nowadays i can get any game i want whenever i feel like it. And grinds don't feel good any more, you got people willing to do it for you, boost or just scummy companies just allowing casual players to play with their wallet and skyrocket past you on leaderboards (looking at 2k19 and Trove)

And now you got everyone attempting to be youtubers so as soon as the game comes out, there's already 50+ videos on the fastest exp rates/glitches and so on. People aren't willing to sit there and grind a game out that they paid for. They'd rather go and complain to the devs on reddit all day then play the game.

And we were more tolerable. We couldn't gamehop to something else, we were broke kids with 1-2 games. I used to ragequit off cod and go to dj hero, that was it. Nowadays the free games are better then the 60$ releases so you always have more then enough games to fall back on once you get pissed at one. That's why i think when mw2 remake releases its gonna die out in the first 4 months. I can't sit there and get noob tubed, 40 stunned oma trickshotted any more. And now you can save clips with a click of a button, everyone is going to get on that trickshot wave again and SnD's gonna be tainted with tubers.

I completely agree. When I was younger I could game for hours and enjoy usually any shooter game we were playing back in the day mostly cod and halo but now I just ain't intrigued no more. I don't know if it's just the games not being up to par or me just getting older and growing out of them. Sad to think because I always pictured myself as a gamer but have been really bored of it lately. I find myself maybe playing a couple hours of blackout and that's because a few buddies I know from work play that game type so we get down on it. It ain't nothing like it was when I was younger playing with the gang from high school and meeting a handful of really close friends on xbl that I still speak to this day every now and then. I understand we all get older and get jobs and have more priorities so that's why I feel like it ain't the way it use to be, pulling all nighters not even worried about the time because you didn't have nothing to worry about, before you know it it's 6 am in the morning and your parents are getting up for work and your like wtf.

Even though I may not be into gaming as I once was I'll never forget all the moments and great times we shared through our love for gaming.

I've noticed that too I rarely play cod now as I think i've grown out of it. I remember playing until 5 in the morning getting two hours of sleep and staying awake all through school and getting home and playing some more. I never slept and I had track for first hour I honestly don't know how I did it. Now my senior year is almost over and I go to sleep at midnight and doze off in classes I wish I still had the energy I had back then.

It sure was amazing playing call of duty years ago and being excited for the newest one to come out! I'm still enjoying Oldschool RuneScape but that's about it honestly

Well, I completely understand this. I miss that feeling when I used to get home from school and play CoD all night. The best times were during the summer though. Man playing MW2 was so amazing back then man. I don't think anything will ever beat it for me. Sad to say, the most fun I've had on a game since then is Fortnite. Gave me a similar binge feeling ya know?

Don't be sad it's gone, be happy you were there to witness and play in it's prime! T'was amazing.
