I have previously asked for help a few times before and I am looking for some more help choosing parts for my new build. I will give some information as to what I play and any other info that I think you may need as well. I was very kindly helped by the user 13 who is now 21. The list that I was helped with is as follows:

Now that the RTX series is available, I can probably get a much better deal on both performance and price for my new build. I want to keep the case the same as I love the design and RGB of it. I would also like to stick with RGB RAM too.

My monitor is a ROG PG278QR which is 2560 x 1440 with a 165Hz refresh and 1ms response time. I play Sea of Thieves mainly but I may switch it up eventually but that is the game that I am always playing at the moment. I use Photoshop very frequent and sometimes Premiere Pro too but I am mainly focused towards gaming.My current PC handles Photoshop just fine so that shouldn't be an issue. If you need any more information, let me know. Thanks in advance.

Definitely don't get that case, airflow would be absolutely tragic. There are plenty of better cases with some sort of RGB implementation. However, I'd just focus on getting a good quality case that's not over-priced, regardless of whether it has RGB LEDs or not.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor (£142.50 @ Aria PC)
Motherboard: MSI - B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard (£98.99 @ Ebuyer)
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (£132.12 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Samsung - 860 Evo 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£76.99 @ Aria PC)
Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£55.99 @ CCL Computers)
Video Card: MSI - GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB GAMING Z Video Card (£379.99 @ CCL Computers)
Case: Phanteks - ECLIPSE P600S ATX Mid Tower Case (£130.00 @ AWD-IT)
Power Supply: Corsair - TXM Gold 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply (£63.83 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £1080.41

Keep in mind, you can save over £30 by getting non RGB RAM;

If you do get the RGB stuff though, get the 3200MHz kit instead of the 3000MHz kit.

Motherboard and GPU have RGB LEDs. You can add an LED strip if you want. You could also get RGB fans, but worth nothing that Phanteks sell "Halos" RGB fan frames which should work with most, if not all case fans- so long as they're the same size of course.

Other cases to consider;
uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/zHndn...350ptg_dbw
uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/p8x2F...a-h500b-b1
uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/nL7v6...-c-bko-tgl
uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/G766M...0-ignn-s00

All linked cases, including the Eclipse P600S are far better choices than the SPEC-OMEGA IMO. All of them are good in their respective price brackets, and any one of them would be a solid option.

Thanks for the help, I will now be going for the NZXT H500 case because it looks nice and modern. I will still be getting the RGB RAM because I want it to look nice and all of my other stuff in my setup is lit up so might aswell.

Yeah, the H500 is a nice mid range case. It's a good upgrade from it's predecessor, the S340. Also, NZXT cases are kind of a pleasure to work in tbh- my H440 was ridiculously easy to work in.

Just keep in mind that it's a 33%+ price increase just for the RGB RAM. I've got some Vengeance RGB Pro, and it's pretty nice don't get me wrong, but not sure it's really worth that premium- especially if you've already got RGB LEDs in the mobo and GPU, and then maybe an LED strip/case fans which should provide more than enough lighting. If you really don't care about the price though, go for it, the Vengeance RGB Pro is the nicest RGB kit IMO, and it's definitely the best priced RGB kit.

I have been thinking and would it be a good idea to spend more and get an RTX 2070 instead of a 2060? I want to be able to run games on decent settings with high FPS.

Or should I just buy a second hand GTX 1070Ti or 1080Ti or something instead? My monitor is 1440p with 165Hz so it would make sense to get something more powerful.

I'm not sure I'd pay the premium for an RTX 2070 over an RTX 2060. An RTX 2070 at stock settings can be matched by an overclocked RTX 2060, which just shows really how minimal the difference between a 2060 and 2070 can be. Of course, the 2070 does have more CUDA cores so it is faster, and an extra 2GB VRAM which could start to be beneficial at 1440p. So there is the argument that the 2070 could be a more capable GPU for 1440p 165Hz, but when it's a $100+ price difference, the 2070 starts to not make much sense at all IMO- especially when considering used 1080Ti's.

If you want to buy a used GPU, that's up to you. RTX 2060 is a better GPU than the GTX 1070Ti, so a 1070Ti/1080 would only make sense if you get a great deal. GTX 1080Ti would give you better than RTX 2070 performance(quite substantially better in a good number of situations, not limited to gaming) for about the same price on the used market, so I'd definitely recommend a used 1080Ti over a 2070. If you're happy to buy used and just want as fast a GPU as possible, then sure 1080Ti is a good shout for around $500.
