Idk where to put this for the topic but I play my games and stuff downstairs in my basement. The wifi down here sucks and i always have 4g on my phone. What can I do to make the wifi better down here?

I'd ask your parents or whoever you live with to move the router and modem downstairs so its close to your setup. If they don't allow that you can look into these NETGEAR - Powerline 1000 Network Extender.
Which you need 2 ethernets for, you plug one into the back of the router and then the other you plug near your setup and into your computer or console of choice.

Its what I used when I lived with my parents.

Was having the same problem back a a few years ago before I moved out in my own place. And the the internet we had was was amazing, and it's odd Bc I was below where the router was, but the only thing that actually helped me out was making it to where I could get a wired connection. So tbh man go with wired

Get virgin media, and use a wired connection.

I would go with wired connection it's literally the best connection you can have for gaming! But you can also get a modem that's designed for gaming and devices. Usually most companies have them.
