What's your favorite thing about one of your grandparents?

I'd say Papa who I called my Grandpa and my Grandma as well help raise me to when my mom was at work , (my mom was a single mom). My papa basically raised me like he was my dad. I was an only child as well. He taught me a lot of what I know what what right and wrong, how to build and go on computers , we always went to cut down a xmas tree together sence I was one years old. He was just basically my Papa my dad and grandpa. He would always call me his Papa's girl. I never knew my dad growing up he was a drug and alcoholic and in prison for murder. When I was 11 my Papa passed away from a massive heart attack the hospital thought he had a bad cold or strep thorat and then when he went home that night he had a bad cough, and when my grandma left the room he had a massive heart attack. My mom also passed away three years ago. I've had a lot of death in my family. But I had a lot of good times with my Papa and Mom. I learned a lot from them.

Well my grandfather has been taking care of his wife for probably 30 years after she has had a few strokes, he is such a nice and wise man he has helped me a lot in my life and still is, I'm glad I seen this thread because I've been wanting to spend more time with him and been telling him I would help him with some things he wants to get done around the house and this just makes me want to call him and say I'll be over bright and early Monday to help you out.

That's sweet of you. I call my grandma every other day and see her when I can. I know life can be short.

My grandma is the strongest and most loving person I know. I admire her so much.
