I haven't been on gta in a long time when I was you could get a modded account any rank unlock all and any amount of money you wanted for $10/$20 and now on that gator cheats website it's like $400 for a account with a lot of money can someone enlighten me as why this is ? I posted it on there thread but it was removed I mean no offence to gator cheats I just want to know why it's now that price. Thanks

Characters can't be transferred to next gen meaning at this point no new modded accounts will ever hit the market they are rare and expensive due to the games ruined economy and popularity

Long story short

Basically last year you could do character transfers to next Gen consoles from 360 or ps3 but since there was too many modded accounts going over to next Gen, rockstar stopped being able to transfer them over

So modders must had transfered characters before they stopped it, since that is the only way now

So basically you can't get anymore profiles to this day only ones modders had already trasnfered over back then

So they're kinda rare and there is only a minimum amount of accounts left, hence the high prices of them

Hope this clears things up

Thanks guys that makes sense now I just couldn't understand the price. Still seems crazy that you can get a gta and a PS4/Xbox 1 for less than a online account

I agree, I think that sellers who sell stats for a game more expensive than the game itself is a bit wack, that being said I also get it because of the rarity factor as well.

But 400$ is a bit much imo and I'd say 120$-200$ is more of a fair cost.

I used to sell for 30$ but that was the glory days tbh, I made more money on gta than most jobs I had back in the day.

I'd love to see an exploit come out on next gen near the end of the consoles life span, don't get me wrong I don't miss modders at all but I miss the freedom ya boaters had on those platforms. I never went into lobbies and killed people for the hell of it I always liked doing things like roleplaying and giving away what I could for free and etc it just sucks how people who kinda abused the system to hard had to ruin other games. Can't even go on old school cod games without being aimbotted across map by some teleporting douche who feels like he's god.

Before I even post anything, I want to clarify that I am here to clear things up, not argue with any users or criticize any opinions. I see this kind of question asked a lot especially from customers who were around "back in the day" so I do understand the approach completely.

Regarding "that gator cheats website it's like $400 for a account" and "But 400$ is a bit much imo and I'd say 120$-200$ is more of a fair cost.":

The accounts I sell start at 190 USD (and the next option is 210-220 USD) and already include at least 100-150 million, rank, unlock all. There is only one package out of 5 options that goes over 400 USD. I do agree if they started at 400 USD that would be pretty crazy but they finish at 400 USD and for good reasoning: 2.5 trillion is a LOT of cash. That's 2,500 times a billion. The money goes across the screen. I also have only ever heard of or touched 12 accounts that had a trillion or more on them so the rarity factor is huge. These are collector accounts, not for people who just want some cash to throw around. Same with XB1, 50 billion XB1 wise is unheard of and it's not needed to have a good time.

Regarding "I used to sell for 30$ but that was the glory days tbh":

Starting in 2014 I sold for $10-25 the max package being rank, 2 billion, unlock all. I didn't ever raise my prices until the transfer issues began.

Overall, the prices come down to 2 factors:

1. Rarity. I made only a select # of accounts before the shut off, and I want them to last. Immediately after the shut off I was selling accounts for a max of $120 and they flew out the window and I raised my prices day 2 because I knew I'd run out in a week.

2. Actual value. 500 million in shark cards would cost a bit over $6,000. Shark cards are $100 per 8 million. I sell from 100 million to 2.5 trillion - how can I sell that for $120 and run out of accounts in a week and even justify that when even at $200-300 it's a steal? $120 is enough to buy ~10 million in shark cards, from me $190 gets you 150 million, rank, unlocks.

As for my personal reasoning, it's a mix between #1 and the lack of competition undercutting me.

Right after the shut off, we saw accounts flying around for $100-150; those are all sold now. All those shops run by modders selling for $100-150 are closed because they sold out; just like I would have if I sold for that cheap.

Also #2 isn't really a huge factor because my PC packages start at $40. So we can see it's mainly #1 doing the work on my pricing here, and I don't regret it because I need to limit my sales if I want my stock to last.
