It's not really dead. It's just a lot of people probably already have their accounts modded in older cods. People move on and worry about the modern games that are released today. And it's somewhat impossible to mod cod games that are on the xbox one now till they release another form of jtag.

The old ways of modding such as xbox 360 and ps3 sadly are declining. And have been rapidly since mw2 became backward compatible. That was the last hope to bring the modding scene back to life, which it did.. but only for a short period of time.

Nowadays the demand for them lobbies is very low and the access to them is very easy and often free. Which changed things a lot.

New ways of modding exist but since the demand is high and access is low prices are sky high. And with new games coming out and games being updated and mods being patched before they are even public it gives the mass public a confused visual of the modding scene in today's day n age. Just my opinion

I remember back in the old modding days.. making hundreds a day and doing services none stop ;)

But nowadays half the people host for free (which I think ruined the modded scene) but people may think different.

But yeah I'd days it's not as lit as it used to be bro!

It's dead for sure. You can't get into modded lobbies without little kids who just wanna boot and brag about an aimbot they downloaded online.

It's certainly not dead. Modding has always been more of a persobal hobby than anything, akin to anything homebrew related. I think the scene certainly blew up more back in the day thanks to the popularity of CoD and the incessant need for us to have everything unlocked at a moment's notice certainly helped put modding onto the mainstream map, however I think Streamah covered it well!

Yes I do see modding on Xbox 360 is going down. But like anyone else I always still get on my RGH once in a while. Bo2 has infections now it sucks.
