Okay-so this really old and I never made a milestone on it, but I hit 1,000 rep at some point. Not that rep means very much now anyways ;)

Most of you are probably like, "okay, 1,000 rep, so many people have that." BUT for the longest time, before you could gift gold in the SB, it was a little more rare.

For a while I was slowly working my way to 1k rep, and was actually at like 900. I literally took a week off of TTG because I was running a marathon. I come back and everyone has so much rep, even the members that have been on less than a year. Like some people have 8,000 and I'm like "WOAH what the heck is going on here." That was when people in the SB dropped like half their life savings to gift people and get rep.

People: "Wow, Tasty, there's no way you ran a marathon."

So that was pretty discouraging. Not that rep means anything IRL anyways. Also, I'm not hating on the system, I know it's good for the site and everything, but I'm just sharing my experience with it.
