I lost my job because of the government shutdown, and my family isn't the only one at risk.

Sunny Blaylock - Women who lost her job.

Not long ago, I got my dream job with a small government contracting company. Now, because of the partial government shutdown, I have no job.
Last summer, my family returned to the Washington, D.C., area after four years abroad. My husband is a diplomat -- a foreign service officer at the Department of State -- and was assigned to Malaysia and later to Pakistan. Our two kids and I followed him to Kuala Lumpur but were not allowed to join him in Islamabad because of safety considerations. I stayed in Malaysia for that year, raising our children so my husband could support efforts to keep the United States and our soldiers abroad safe from terrorism.
Our family reunited back in America, where my husband's next assignment would be. We planned to get settled before I would think about finding employment in this extremely expensive place to live.

--------------------------------------------

Personally I think this is becoming a joke. It needs to stop. I would love to hear what you think about this subject.

And this is all because trump can't get the funding to build his irrelevant wall.

Dude this is what the understanding is when you have a government job. It says it clearly in your contract.

This was another statement made by trump - President Trump warned Friday that the partial government shutdown could go on for months or even years, delivering no real breakthrough with congressional leaders as his own administration scrambled to shore up support among Republicans for a gambit that has started to fracture. - And once again because he wants a wall. Hes acting like a spoilt kid. Because he thinks he has power so he can do what he wants but it shows his own government is turning against him.

He isn't a good president he needs rid of - Trump seemed to display little empathy for the 800,000 federal employees who have been furloughed or are working without being paid, saying that most workers support the shutdown and that the "safety net is going to be having a strong border because we're going to be safe." For workers who will not be able to pay their rent, Trump suggested that landlords would "work with" them and that he would encourage them to "be nice and easy" on their tenants. - more proof he doesn't care about anyone he has to much hatred to be a president he is filled with hate.

He was even considering taking money out of the US Military to fund his wall.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation, all I can say is that we almost didn't get a tax refund due to the government shutdown. So I don't think it's right but there's not much we can do.

You do realize we had a shutdown in 2016 because Obama was forcing a vote on Obama care right. Almost every president causes a shutdown (well at least since 1976 since that was the first year allowing it) some are stupid and some are legit this is just one of the stupid ones.
