Hello Guys, I need advice for my new PC.

So, I already build a PC for myself, but I had big help from a friend of mine, with which I don't have much contact anymore, so I tried it on my own.

I am from Germany and my budget for the PC is 2000 Euro.
I already have a mouse, monitor and everything.
I don't need more storage space, I already have 2 SSDs and an HDD.

I play a lot of games and would like to play them in high settings, like Witcher 3, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Squad etc.
I also work with Maya, ZBrush, Photoshop etc, so I need 32 GB of RAM.

I don't really care about LED Lights and fancy looks.

My question would be if the part a chose work well together or if there are things I can improve or change

And I have another short question. I already have a Windows 7 Home Edition, but I think I can't upgrade that to Windows 10 anymore with a new PC, am I correct? I don't know if I need the Windows 10 software.

Ryzen build because why not...
I included an NVME SSD because I doubt you have one already and are currently using SATA drives instead.
If you really want a CD drive, I would just buy an external one to use when you need it and then put it away when you aren't using it. CDs/DVDs are mostly irrelevant when you can use USBs anyway.

In terms of Windows 10, you can download it directly from Microsoft and buy a cheap key online (via Reddit, G2A, etc.)
If you want to buy a proper version directly from microsoft, just drop the NVME drive and install Windows 10 on either of your current SSDs.

Do note that the 2080 has 1 HDMI port, 3 Displayports, and 1 virtual link port so if you are currently using DVI cables/multiple HDMI/etc. you will need to buy new display cables or adapters.

Hello -Deano,
thank you very much for your help.

I don't have much experience with AMD, I always used Intel Processors, whats the key differents between Intel and AMD Processors?

Thanks for the tip with the SSD, I looked into it and it sounds quite good.
For the CD Driver, I will buy myself an external one now.

I didn't know that you could just download Win 10 thanks for the tip there.

With the cables for the monitor, I am going to need an adapter, buts that's no problem.

Considering AMD are competitive with Intel now (With the release of Ryzen CPUs), the major difference is AMD/Ryzen are better bang for your buck and Intel has better single core performance.

Generally, I would recommend the best option for your money over raw performance, hence why I am recommending Ryzen 7.

Comparing at a similar budget, you could get an i5-9600K (9th-gen) or i7-8700 (8th-gen) which you can compare stats with here and here respectively.

It's pretty much up to you whether you want to go Intel or AMD considering both have their own pros/cons. I've only chosen Ryzen here because I have recently bought one myself.

No problem. One thing to also consider is that if you are doing your Maya,etc. stuff is to have a fairly decently large HDD. You didn't mention the size of it but I would recommend at least 2TB if you are going to be doing that stuff as well as gaming (rip 100GB+ on newer games)

I currently use a 2K Monitor by Samsung as a main monitor and an older secondary monitor with 1080p.
But I consider buying a 4K Monitor later this year.

I have a 500GB and one 250GB Samsung Evo.


And I have a new question, I consider buying this graphics card

instead of the one, you recommended because with the Win 10 + adapter + DVD driver I would exceed my budget. Would that be a good choice for a RTX 2070?

You could grab a 4k monitor within budget now if you wanted.

What "adapter" do you need? You can use Win10 for free. I wouldn't pay 90-100 euros or whatever it is for a key. An external optical drive shouldn't cost any more than 20-30 euro.

I think I'd rather save the 60 or so euro and grab an R7 2700 over R7 2700x. If you're completely uninterested in any manual overclocking though, the 2700x isn't a bad option at all. You could also save a decent bit if you went with this RTX 2080 instead;

Pretty ugly cooler IMO, and I'm not sure how well the cooler performs but I'd imagine it's sufficient and it is priced very well.
