Wow really sad moment especially around the Holidays
So sorry Sean to hear this prayers and thoughts go out to you and his family! I will see what I can come up with to help out for his family Wish I would of known of him or got to talk to him since the last 6 years I have been here. With the post ending tomorrow morning and being so close to £2,500. I cannot thank you guys enough for the support shown to Robin, Sean and each family. You guys are awesome!
Even if you sent a reply wishing all the best, and showing some support. A little support is better than not at all. It is all appreciated. Not only did TTG lose a valuable piece, but the world did also. Not many geniune people around these days. Robin from what I've been told was one of those you wish to meet in your lifetime. So without dragging this on. And the total now being £2,394. I've sent the remaining £106 to take the total to £2,500.14 Each one of you should be very proud to have been a part of something like this. Including you Sean. You are the roots to this donation. Jay donated another £106
This brings the total to £2,500.14 I only asked to raise 50% of the total cost and that was £1,500 of the £3,000. I'm going round to see the family at 2pm to help them with some bits but they have no idea at all about this so I imagine this is going to be a shock in the best way possible as I'm going to withdraw it all and hand it to them with the letter that has all the usernames on. When I requested help to get to 50% my goal in my head was if we could just get £500 that would take some strain off them but this is something else altogether. Many thanks to Jay and a handful of members who gave me a push to make this thread I seriously had no intention of doing so as I never want to you ask you guys for anything ever but I'm glad just this once I buckled. Handshakes to all you've backed up the reason I put so much of my life into keeping this place going. I just want to add that the family has not asked me for anything I've just watched the worry and struggle of them trying to work out how to handle it. |
