What is Influence?
Influence represents a players' progression in Forza Horizon 4 and is the core of the game's "Horizon Life" campaign. No matter how you like to play the game, you'll be earning Influence as you go - exploring racing, performing stunts, taking photographs, creating (liveries, tunes and Blueprints), and streaming (or viewing) on Mixer.

How do I earn FH4 Influence with Mixer?
Make sure you link your Microsoft Account (MSA) associated with your Xbox Gamertag to your Mixer Account. Log into Mixer, watch Schoen's FH4 stream, sit back, chat, and earn Influence. It's that easy. You can earn FH4 Influence through Mixer by watching on any device (mobile, Xbox, web), but not all methods of watching allow you to view your total influence earned.

How much FH4 Influence do I earn?
Viewers earn 500 influence for every 5 minutes they have watched.
Streamers earn 500 influence for every 2 minutes they have streamed.
*We have graciously done the multiplication for those mathematically challenged:
Viewers can earn 6,000 Influence per hour, and 144,000 per day.
Streamers can earn 15,000 Influence per hour, and 360,000 per day.

How do I claim my FH4 Mixer-earned Influence in-game?
Once you have earned Influence for viewing or streaming FH4 on Mixer, you can claim your available Influence in the game using the same Xbox Gamertag you used to watch or stream on Mixer. The game automatically takes all available influence into your account upon initial start of each gaming session. You must quit and restart the game if you want it to take in another saved amount of earned influence.

My game isn't adding my Mixer-earned influence. Why not?
Players must unlock the "Mixer" thread in the Horizon Life campaign to take advantage of Mixer-earned Influence. The Horizon Life campaign unlocks after all 4 seasons have been unlocked and level 20 has been reached to place you on the Horizon Roster.

How do I check how much FH4 Influence I've earned?
There are three (3) ways of viewing Mixer (mobile app, web browser, and Xbox console), but not all of them show your total influence.

The mobile app does not currently have a way for you to check your total Mixer-earned influence.
The Xbox console only shows your influence once every 5 minutes with an automated counter that displays for a short period of time. There is nothing you can click on or manually display to show your influence.
Using a web browser is the most effective way to keep an eye on your total Mixer-earned influence: Click on the Blue Ribbon next to the FH4 game thumbnail image within the stream. A window will open over the stream video. When you first open the window it may not show the influence count because it is updated every 5 minutes. Leave it open for 5 minutes and it should update the window, stating 'You Earned xxx,xxx Influence'. This influence total will update every 5 minutes if you leave it open.

The window will not load my influence total. Why not?
Sometimes the window takes longer than 5 minutes. If this happens, go back to the Forza Horizon 4 stream menu and click on Ponomar's stream again. Reloading the stream usually corrects this. You may have to do this multiple times, but remember to wait 5 minutes each time for it to attempt to load your influence total.

The window opens, but instead of my influence total, it reads 'Current Value'. What gives?
This is a glitch in the Mixer code that is supposed to update every 5 minutes. Change your 'Language' at the top Mixer menu bar, and then change it back to your usual language. This will most likely reset the 'Current Value' code and your influence will load within the following 5 minutes of clicking the Blue Ribbon. You may need to refresh the stream.
