I would have to say mental illness was mine. i have overcome my illnesses i had very aggressive depression and anxiety my depression faded but my anxiety is still here not as much though. When people sit there and tell you "it gets better" You may think its bullshit but theyre right. Eventually it does get better so stay strong. also if you are having struggles with depression and need a friend im here

The day I proposed to my wife.

Just kidding, I'd have to say when I got injured on my first deployment, it sucked pretty bad.

Being born... Jk. I would have to say my depression. I missed a lot of great opportunities in my life.

My mental health illness as well I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. I've been living with this for almost 10 years and like you said it does gets better but you can't fight it either you just gotta cope with it and better yourself once you do that things will get a lot better but there is no cure for mental health it's always gonna stay with you even if you're not feeling what you're diagnosed with for years, like depression it will come and go depending if something triggers it to come back. Anxiety will come and go as well but it's not always bad sometimes you could be anxious when your excited or have a lot on your mind which ain't a bad thing, yes it's annoying at times but if you find coping skills like listening to music, activities, etc. it will help. Also talking to others will help too, never keep your emotions in for so long or you can snap at any moment and do something you'll regret!

Thanks for sharing dude. My college campus works hard to spread awareness for mental health. I never had an issue with depression until college because in high school all I did was play video games, now with so much time alone I get into some pretty deep lows but I got super involved with greek life and started a fraternity on my campus that my dad was in during college, now I'm super close with him and I have a little who has all the same issues I do so we have each others backs Things definitely do get better. Just gotta work it out, find things to do and the right people to spend your time with.

Any of you guys can DM me any time to talk stuff out

Not gonna lie on Friday the 13th of this year, I was going through a really rough patch in my life. Wasn't getting any sleep and was stressed to the max. Due to lack of sleep I accidentally fell asleep at the wheel and wrecked my new car but thank god for insurance and the angels that watched over me. Life is short, treat it as such and live your life.
