I believe there is life out there somewhere else in the universe.

Do you think life in another galaxy considers us as aliens? Do you think that our perception from movies and tv shows of aliens is way off or do you think we are on track with what they look like?

One of our probes just passed outside of our galaxy, and it's one of the most intense things I've ever seen. The vastness of our galaxy alone is impeccable. To think we're the only ones out there is absurd.

Honestly was not expecting this many people to 100% agree that there is life out there. No clue why, but irl people don't want to accept this. I have close friends that I'll get into 2 hour long discussions about alien life and if our life is even real. We always go back to, what if this is all a simulation. Honestly, with our technology we have today and the hidden tech the government may or may not have, I wouldn't be surprised whatsoever.

Outside of our galaxy? If you have a source for this I'd be interested in reading about it.

If any of you are familiar with the Fermi paradox, it sure does pose a problem to alien life. For those who aren't familiar with it, in simplest terms it simply questions how with such a high probability of life elsewhere, how has nobody reached us yet?

Being a gaming site, I suggest that you all check out Elite Dangerous. It's the only game I've ever come across that accurately shows the sense of scale we are dealing with when talking about the size of our galaxy alone. It's pretty incredible.

Unless other life is immortal or something of that nature, it would take them an insane amount of years to reach us if they're traveling from a different part of the galaxy.

This is true. High speeds actually reduce the aging process since time isn't necessarily (tangible? not sure that's the right word). If something were to travel fast enough, aging would ALMOST come to a stop.

I really hope that in my life time, long-distance travel through worm holes or something of the like becomes a reality
