I was just banned for using Chat's method a while ago when it worked.
Ban happened as of right now.
2 week suspension for "Marketplace theft"
I have submitted an appeal.
Never used a different method on my main and the main is banned. Used Chats method and no other on this account

Is it possible to unlink your Gamertag from your epic account and use an alternate Xbox live account?

Yes, unlink from epics site and link new gamertag

I bought a game using the new method and they just refunded it
