I lost my dad last November and losing someone you love is nothing easy. I look at it as a challenge. If I can overcome this, then there is not much more worse than losing one of your parents at a young age. Its okay to be sad and think about your loss. However, I do not let it affect the person I was or what I what to accomplish in life. He would always tell me to never let ANYTHING get in my way of achieving my dreams. I plan on sticking with that even though he was number 1 in my life for 20 years.

Feeling alone/lonely is something I myself struggle with and have for a long time now. I know for me I'm just too hard on myself in a ton of areas.

If you need a friend bro don't hesitate to reach out or hang out in the shoutbbox!

Something i've learnt from TTG that not many people think/know.

If you've made friends on here or not, the entire community will offer support. (Maybe not everyone as some are stuck up their own ass) But when i felt down 2 years ago about a miscarriage me and my missus suffered the amount of support i got was amazing and it helped me realise things happen for a reason. We wasn't ready to become a mommy again or a daddy for the first time. I was so caught up in other life events it wasn't the right time at all.
When i became a daddy for the first time in Feb this year i was suffering from anxiety (still do). And that help came from someone who i didn't expect it from. Also a handful of others which i can't thank enough. I'm grateful i have these certain people that i can call my friends here.
I now see it as, if you don't have these types of things/problems happening in your life. You're not human or clearly some things in life don't mean shit to you.

My PMs are always open for ANYONE who needs some support or comfort. So don't be afraid to hit me up.

Hope things start to look up for you man. Life can be so shitty at times.

I went through the same situation with my grandma passing at the beginning of the year.
It has been really, really tough, I'm constantly seeing things that remind me of her, whether it's going to Disneyland and seeing Eeyore(her favorite character) or getting a birthday card from my grandpa and seeing his handwriting instead of the beautiful caligraphy style writing my grandma had.

It's a really tough situation to handle, and if it's the first close loss in your family(was for me) then it will probably be even harder.

I was told constantly to just remember all the good times we had together, to realize that if she were still her she would be ecstatic and full of love to see me, even if I'm at my lowest point.

I don't think anyone will say anything to make you feel better, because nothing will fix it. But with time, things will begin to get better. You will start just remember the good times with her. Know that she won't have to suffer, or suffer anymore. Know that she still loves you and try your best to honor her by living the best life you possibly can.

I know if the end you're going to be alright my man, it's just a way of life. My condolences to you and your family in this rough time. If you ever want anyone to talk to, PM me or honestly anyone on TTG as they will most likely try their best to make you feel a bit better.

Good luck my man, nothing but love

Stay strong and keep your mind off it, I went through the same situation a year ago and I decided to take up golf to get me out and about. This really helped, obviously we will still think if our lost one but they would not like to see us dowm. Keep your chin up and if you need anyone to talk to drop me a message bro

Just know she's proud of you brother, make them memories in to happy memories and celebrate the life that she had with you. You'll get through this hard time my man.
