I'm suffering bad FPS drops when in-game and have to run games such as Fortnite on low, is this my parts being crappy and old or the fact something might not be plugged in right?

What exactly do you use your PC for, and what do you look to gain from an upgrade?
What is the make and model of both your case, and PSU?

Honestly, the HDD is the only thing worth re-using. I'd just sell the system(including monitor) without HDD on Gumtree for whatever you can get from it, maybe £200-250, then use £750-800 to build yourself a new system(re-using your 2TB HDD) and the rest of the money for a nice monitor(something at least 1080p).

I use my PC for gaming, So is my Monitor the reason i'm getting frame drops? Could I not just get a new graphics card and processor to fix the issue wouldn't that be cheaper???

No, the old low-end and barely entry level GPU is what's causing poor performance. The monitor is just also pretty old and low-end, and wth "a budget upwards of £750", you can easily build a nice little system that will handle 1080p and grab a nice new monitor.

but no, you couldn't just get a new CPU to fix the issue. The best CPU compatible with your motherboard is still junk, so you'd be looking at a socket upgrade which means new motherboard and RAM. A GPU upgrade would definitely remedy the issue. However, it's not quite that simple, you may require a new case and/or PSU depending on what you currently have and what GPU you purchase, hence why I asked;
