Is there any way to check old private messages? I bought a modded GTA account in 2016 and the account info was in a PM, but they're all gone now. If there's anything I can do to recover the messages please let me know, thanks!

Nope. You would need to save the message while you have it. Otherwise after a certain amount of time it will be deleted.
