I'm aware that i might need xbox live to play black ops 1, but whenever i'm in a private match none of my friends can join me, they either disconnect due to transmission error or cant join in general. I use some shitty menu by iMCS or something like that, anyone help me?

Happen to me I had to buy a 2 day trial. I'm pretty sure the older cod games you need gold. As gold spoofing only goes so far.
