Okay so I booked a holiday for the 26th to the 6th August which I gave them 26 days notice before hand. About a week ago it was declined saying it wasn't enough notice. So I spoke to other members of staff & management which they've all disagreed with the outcome. One of which asked for a signing to let me go. Now a week has passed and no one has signed it.

One manager has gone holiday so they can't sign it, the other works morning and I work evenings so I can't speak to her. I have 4 days to get it approved before I go or I'll be fired.

Wtf should I do??

A 14 day notice is more than enough time for any employer to get it covered, 26 days is complete bs. I would go in and demand that it be signed. Tell whoever is your lead, general manager, hiring manager whoever the hell does the schedule, that you had to time in close to a month before now and that youve already spent money on your trip(whatever you're doing). I think you should fight, cause I assume that by making this post, deep down, you don't care if you're fired for going on a well earned vacation

Believe me I am fighting for it, it was down to management that it was notified not me and I'm the one to suffer, no. At the moment I've said that if it doesn't get signed I'm quitting. End of. I've mentioned that I feel like he's got something against me but nothing has happened. Even thought about going HR about it. Thanks for the help my man, have some rep

What made you stop going to HR? I think that's a smart move, normally they have some sort of job when it comes down to people taking time off(there's no HR at my company so I'm not for sure about that) and you could also tell them that this manager is being a real dick to you, always has been(maybe I'm right?), and is now saying "no you don't get free time, even though you've notified us waaaaaay in advance"
I'm with you dude, I think you should quit if you can't get the time off because the don't deserve someone like you. If you bust your ass and take a break for yourself, and they can't help you out, you deserve to be somewhere else.

Good luck getting through the situation man, and enjoy your time off.
Now it's time to get ready for work and debate suicide, all while being angry at my manager who doesn't do anything right.

Completely depends on policy, we have to hand our holidays in a year in advance!
I normally book 3 weeks off then leave 2 weeks incase something comes up in the year, but then I need to make sure no one else has it off and get it approved before I book anything.

Lesson learnt; don't book anything until you know you have got it off.

That's awful, normally at most places though it's 14 working days notice. I'd speak to the highest part of management and let them know you booked it that far in advance.
