GTX 760 Driver crashing

I have a NViDIA GTX 760.
My screen will freeze, then turn black, then come back on. I'll then get an error message saying nvidia display driver has stopped responding and successfully recovered.
Has anyone else gotten this error? I've searched multiple forums and videos trying to solve the problem but cant seem to find a fix!
My games will also get a big fps drop before crashing, and recently when i plug my TV in to the HDMI port for netflix it either freezes constantly, or the drivers crash again.
Any recommended advice would be appreciated.
