What's up guys. So everytime im ina party or gamechat people say my mic has an echo and sometimes is buzzing.. But i hear nothing wrong on my end. My brother had the same problem and we came to the conclusion that it wasnt our mics, it was our same cheap brand controllers. Because when he got a new controller and used the same mic his problem was fixed. Then I got a new controller and it still didnt work? So i got a new mic as well.. & the echo was still there for others to hear? I eventually tried using my brothers new controller and his current mic and MINE still had the echo but when he uses it on his xbox he doesnt have an echo? Does anyone know what's wrong with mine? Like where is the problem?

Is your settings to loud? because even with astro's i still get a echo when my sound is too high.

go into your xbox settings and make sure it isn't too high.

Seems like there is way too much going on to try to troubleshoot the correct problem. The controller seems like it could be the start of the problem. Maybe borrow a friends, or just buy a new, Microsoft controller and hoping for the best. If that doesn't work, it could be the mic chord.

What kind of headset do you have? And do you have a link to the controllers you bought?
