I need a gaming laptop under $500. Suggestions or builds (even tho i never really built one) would be great. +/- $50 would be fine as well.

Gaming laptops are hard to get for that budget, You can get laptops that can just about game but if you're looking for a dedicated gaming laptop, you need to double the amount you're willing to spend.

Do you need a laptop or could you do with a PC?

I have a gaming desktop, just need a PC that can play games at work since I don't really do anything at my job.
