I have a Galaxy S7 running through sprint. Always wanted to Root, but continue to get told it cannot be rooted and it can simply be rooted.

Im running Android version 7.0 and have the March 1st security patch level.
Software version: G930PVPU6BRD2

if it is possible, Feel free to link me to a tutorial, or if your willing to do it, and Ill make it worth your time $$, show me over skype/discord whatever works. I need help, this is the first time rooting because this is my first android. I always used to Jailbreak iphones but I know this is a lot more than jailbreaking. also last question, Do the one click roots work? I found this, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
but heard it could work but heard it doesnt. alot of mixed opinions which is why i want a quality answer first lol, I wanna make sure of everything before potentially bricking my phone because I didn't get the info first.

You can try some one click methods or single tap methods. The odd's it will break your phone are low, most of the times they either fail or stop mid root attempt.

The only real method to do it cleanly is the ODIN method, one of the first things that come up on XDA about rooting this model & OS

So is it possible to root my phone that goes through sprint with all the info I provided above? If so, any chance you could link me to it? Im very much a noob, but I do understand how to follow directions and I do have a lot of computer knowledge about files! This would be my first ever time rooting, because I did switch from Iphone, and i used to jailbreak those all the time.

Check on XDA for a guide just look up the phone + OS & root usually the first one is the best method. Sprint phones are easier to root IMO for some reason most of the time when i had a contract on them i could root first try, verizon seems to be a little more strict but still doable.

It will trigger the Knox void warranty on your phone.
If your okay with that then get Twrp for your phone model.
Put Your S7 into download mode ( hold power+vol up+home when your phone is off ) and get the latest version of Odin3 v3.10.7 send it to your phone via Odin3 v3.10.7.
If all went well boot into recovery hold power+vol down+home when your phone is off, install Magisk-v16.4 in the install section of your new recovery menu.
Backup your phone before starting
It's a rough guide.
