I just bought an HD60s El Gato Game capture card to record but wasn't aware of how quickly it drained the GB from the computer. I only have 6.5 GB left on my MacBook Air that I am able to record with. I was wanting to know how to increase the amount of storage if possible?

Get an external hard drive to use for your recordings.
1-2TB would be smart

And what do you mean by that?
Your computer isn't recognizing it? The el gato software isn't recognizing it?

I have the External HD formated for my computer but the El Gato software doesn't seem to be recognizing it.
For instance, Im about to record but it says, " 6 GB left on Macintosh HD"

Have you changed the settings in the el gato software to send recordings to the correct hard drive? It's probably still on the original hd
