Clearly you didn't read the post

I read it and yes, you're complaining about women being in the game because it isn't completely historically accurate. As a person who also appreciates history, your point is... what exactly? That the cosmetics of a fictional videogame should be kept accurate according to its time in history because or else it'd be rewritting history and thus changing the fabric of time and space?

And while you did mention that women do have roles in the war, how are you 100% sure that women didn't partake in combatant roles? Do you know how many untold war stories there are? Not ALL of history is recorded and I'm sure that somewhere down the line, there were squadrons that had one female combatant that was never talked about.

Please, if your argument to boycott Battlefield 5 is that cosmetics aren't historically accurate, I'll see it being released on its due date with everything they've already shown us.

Jesus H. Christ. 150K people who get offended at videogames that don't fit their specific likes, needs and wants. I wonder if those people know that they can, y'know, not purchase the game at all and that would cause more damage to the Battlefield series than trying to boycott it.

I probably wasnt gonna get it anyway so it doesn't really affect me any. Still sad to see EA/DICE bending over for the loud minority that dont even play games to begin with.

Maze wrote Damn people literally get offended by anything. This is a terrible reason to not buy the game, but hey if you don't want to it's not gonna change anybody else's life. Not to mention the petition is out together so terribly and has multiple errors it's hard to take even the slightest bit serious.

People love being offended these days its all they live for.

Not offended just disgusted.

you sound very offended

Nope disgusted like many men and women just disgusted.

well then you really need to get over yourself, if this stuff bothers you this much

All i wanted to do is come home from work to a battlefield that could immerse me in WW2. This isn't it its pathetic. I work 65 hours a week don't tell me what i can and can't care about with my little free time.

so because there are females in the game you cant get immersed. heres an idea in multiplayer dont play as the women and in campaign well just get over yourself

It's the fact they are trying to market this as an immersive WW2 shooter but aren't sticking to historical accuracies. I'm all for putting women in the game but when you have a women with pink face paint on and a Captain Hook arm on the frontlines you kinda lose the "immersion" they were trying to bring. If they were to market it as an alternative history this game would be fine, but they aren't. They could have done stories about Russian female soldiers or female French/Polish resistance fighters which is historically accurate.

You guys do realize this is a video game right? Best part about it is you're not forced to buy it.
