So my pc part list is:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

As you can see the issue is "Cooler Master - Hyper 212 LED 66.3 CFM Rifle Bearing CPU Cooler and Thermaltake - Versa N24 ATX Mid Tower Case are not compatible."

I'd like to buy a CPU Cooler for my 8600k which i will be overclocking (lil bit, not so much) under USD $60.
I was planning to get the hyper 212 which would have been perfect but apparently it's not compatible with my cabinet. (???)
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you for your time!

EDIT: It should also be available in my country (India). So, you could try amazon.in or mdcomputers.in under Rs. 4000.

Okay, so first of all stop looking at pricing in the US and at the US PCPP. You're buying from India, not the US, so look for parts in India.

Secondly, Hyper 212 is a terrible cooler anyway. There are far better alternatives.

Third, I've already recommended you a parts list in your last thread which included a far better quality case within your budget;
https://www.thetechgame.com/Forums/p=40112281.html#40112281
This list comes with an included cooler which would perform somewhat similar to a Hyper 212 and would be more than adequate.

If you're looking for an Intel system now, rather than Ryzen, I can help with an Intel alternative parts list, but you need to give us the relevant information to help you. However, you had mentioned in your last thread that you would like to stream, in which case Ryzen 5 is a better alternative to the i5. i5-8600k will let you get better performance in games(and notice it), but Ryzen 5 1600 will let anyone viewing your stream have a much more pleasant experience.

So, if you'd rather an 8600k system, let me know and I'll give you a parts list for that.

P.S. Again, do NOT get that Thermaltake Versa N24 case. It is trash and over-priced. Don't get the Gigabyte HD3P motherboard, AGAIN it's a budget mobo for a reason, low quality.

Yes, I'd rather go with the intel 8600k processor than ryzen.

Storage - 11,000Rs [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Stupidly good SSD. Absolutely bulletproof. Hoping to pick one of these up for myself. 500GB should last you a while, at least until you can add an extra HDD if necessary.

Case - 8800Rs [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Great case. Looks nice, good airflow. Built in one of these before, loved it, and am looking to upgrade to one myself.That said, you could get a Phanteks Eclipse P400S for the same price which would also be fine, or a Phanteks Eclipse P300 for around 5000Rs if you want a budget option.

PSU - 5700Rs [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
I wanted to go with the TX550M, but it's out of stock unfortunately so the CX650M will do. To be fair, you could easily save 2500Rs on the PSU by getting a CX450 instead;
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Quality is still perfectly good, and wattage is still fine, but it's non modular so I'd personally just spend a little extra for the semi-modular CX650M. Or grab a Corsair TX550M if you can find one for under 7000Rs.

Same as my last suggestion, just doesn't include Mobo/CPU/RAM and cooler because you want to switch to an 8600k. So the Case, PSU, and storage above are all still solid options and come to about 15,500Rs. Assuming your budget is 58,000Rs(excluding GPU and monitor), correct? This leaves us with a little over 40k Rs for the rest of the system, so here's what I'd probably do;

CPU - 20,000Rs [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

RAM - 7000Rs [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Motherboard - 13,250Rs [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

CPU Cooler - 3000Rs [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Solid little budget option, will do the 8600k and you can easily upgrade cooler later or upgrade to a better cooler now by getting a cheaper case and/or PSU like I mentioned above.

I also have another few alternative motherboard options for you, all slightly more expensive and they'll all perform the same, so just get whichever you prefer the look of. I included the AsRoxk Z370 mobo above beccause it's the cheapest. AGAIN, do not get the HD3P, it's absolute trash.

First of all, thanks so much for helping me out. Building for the first time and already 999 mistakes. Dunno what I'd do without u honestly. kudos

Storage: I'll get the evo 860 250 GB because i have a 3 TB external HDD with usb 3.0 and i don't think i'll need 500 GB ssd as it costs almost double and imo 250 gb is enough for OS and 1 game to be run from ssd. (works for me, i think)

PSU: I'll go with CX450 for now because of budget problems. Or how about CX550 (+Rs. 1000)

RAM: Definitely the one you suggested. Rs. 7000 so its well under budget and 3000Mhz speed is what i was looking for. And i can always upgrade when i want (Although for upgrading i would have to buy the same product right?)

Motherboard: I'll buy the best one within the budget of Rs. 15000. Could you recommend me some more so I can look around and get back to you?

Case: I think I'll get something way cheaper than Rs. 8000. Anything good but less than Rs. 4000 would be awesome (if possible).

Trust me, get the 500GB variant. It is very well priced and you might think it's a lot now, but you can afford it and I guarantee you'll appreciate it in the future. I have a 250GB SSD, 2TB HDD, and 3TB NAS, but am looking to add another 500GB SSD and 2-3TB HDD. 500GB 860 EVO will be nice and fast, last you ages and you can get your OS and probably most of your games on there, then use the 3TB HDD for everything else.

aayushsapkota wrote PSU: I'll go with CX450 for now because of budget problems. Or how about CX550 (+Rs. 1000)

The CX450 is fine, spend the extra for the CX550 if you want. Though it appears to be out of stock currently. Only reason I went with the CX650M is because it is in stock and is semi-modular, as opposed to the CX450 and CX550 which are non-modular. If you're willing to order a PSU and wait for stock, I'd definitely recommend going for the TX550M;

RAM can be iffy. I've ran systems with 3 mismatched DIMMs of completely different capacity/speeds and had no issues, but have had friends buy a kit of RAM, buy the exact same kit a month later and it not be compatible. Typically though, yes, you will be fine. As long as you make sure to buy another 1x8GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz with the same timings(15-15-15-36) and the exact same model number, there should be very little chance of issue.

You could however run this 1x8GB for now, add a 1x8GB DIMM of G.SKill @ 3200MHz and have them run fine together, just both DIMMs would slow down to match the slowest speed/timings.

aayushsapkota wrote Case: I think I'll get something way cheaper than Rs. 8000. Anything good but less than Rs. 4000 would be awesome (if possible).

The case I've included is a very good case and the price is pretty damn good for what you get. If you're adamant on saving some cash on the case though, just get the Eclipse P300. It's a little over 5000Rs and is fantastic for the price. I personally wouldn't use anything lesser, and the P300 is the case I'd be using for a budget system.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
You could get this Antec case for a little less, but I think I'd be taking the P300 over this;

and if you're just going full cheapo on the case, get this;

aayushsapkota wrote Motherboard: I'll buy the best one within the budget of Rs. 15000. Could you recommend me some more so I can look around and get back to you?

Oops, that's my bad I actually meant to leave a list of alternative motherboard choices for you. That AsRock board I recommended is the cheapest I'd suggest, and is a great board, much better than the HD3P.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Here's a list. These are all the compatible motherboards. The 3 MSI mobo's cheaper than the AsRock Killer SLI are not good mobo's, and I don't recommend them so the AsRock Z370 Killer SLI/AC for 13,250Rs is the cheapest board I recommend. Again, it's better than the more expensive Gigabyte HD3P, do NOT buy the HD3P. The MSI Z370 SLI Plus and Tomahawk are both solid options, as is the MSI Z370 Krait. All available under 15,000Rs. I wouldn't buy that Asus Prime motherboard because it's over-priced and the better Asus options are mostly out of your budget. That said, you could get the Asus TUF Z370 for 14,500Rs;

aayushsapkota wrote First of all, thanks so much for helping me out. Building for the first time and already 999 mistakes. Dunno what I'd do without u honestly. kudos

No bother at all, I'm happy to help.

Anyway, with the middle of the road Antec P8 case and if you're willing to wait for PSU, this is what we're looking at;
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] / [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

CPU: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (19550.00)
Motherboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (13250.00)
Memory: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (7100.00)
Storage: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (11000.00)
Case: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (4540.00)
Power Supply: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (5500.00)
Total: 60940.00

If you need/want to save money, then you'll pretty much have to drop down to the 250GB 860 EVO but you definitely wouldn't regret getting the 500GB version. If you do get the cheaper SSD, you could put some of that saving towards a better case and/or one of the different, slightly more expensive motherboards.

What about cooler? Is Corsair A70 compatible and will it allow me moderate overclocking?

Also I already have a tp-link ac1300 t6e dual band wifi adapter which i'd like to use with my system. Since Asrock Z370 KILLER SLI AC has 802.11ac, i'd like to buy a board without wifi to save money.

I mean if you like the motherboard and it happens to have wi-fi, don't just not get it because you already have a wi-fi adapter. You can return or sell the wi-fi adapter for a bit of extra cash or just use it in the system anyway? So if you like the Asrock board, save some cash and get that.

As for cooler, I totally derped. Forgot to include a cooler with the 8600k. The Corsair A70 would work, yes, but it wouldn't allow for great overclocking, maybe a mild OC.

All my derp has me confused, so let's start d=from scratch. We'll go with the Antec P8 because it's a nice middle ground case, and we'll stick with the CX450 PSU because it's in stock at a good price, and is perfectly adequate. We also know you're sticking with an 8600k. I'm assuming you don't want the AsRock motherboard.

So here is the parts list we're left with;
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] / [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

CPU: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (19550.00)
Motherboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (13700.00)
Memory: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (7100.00)
Storage: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (6050.00)
Case: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (4540.00)
Power Supply: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (3200.00)
Total: 54140.00
(excluding cooler(for now)). Went with MSI SLI Plus, swap it for the Z370 Tomahawk instead if you prefer, both have RGB LEDs. I went with the smaller SSD just to keep price down. I really do recommend getting the 500GB variant though. All prices are manually entered and came from products listed on;
mdcomputers.in

Now we have around 4,000-6,000Rs left for a CPU cooler if I'm not mistaken?

From what I've seen, mid ranged to high end air coolers aren't too common in India, or are over-priced. So for CPU cooler, you can use Corsair A70 for 3000Rs, and it will be perfectly adequate for stock speeds and maybe a little bit of overclocking.

If you want to overclock the 8600k as far as you can(and/or better than your budget Corsair A70), you're going to want to upgrade your cooler later and the best option for you appears to be a CLC AIO. I've found a couple of 240mm AIO's for 6500-7000Rs, but you might be better off spending the extra 2000Rs or so and going for a nice 280mm AIO. (120mm and 140mm AIOs suck, don't get one of these)! Any of these should fit in the P8 no problem. So I recommend going A70 for now and upgrade cooler later. It's unfortunate that I can't find any nice mid ranged air coolers for 5000-6000Rs, because that would be perfect.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] - 6600Rs, out of stock
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] - 7050Rs, in stock. Exact same cooler as above but RGB.
As you can guess, these are the 240mm AIO's.

and here are the 280mm's;
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Both 9300Rs, and both in stock.

~IGNORE ABSOLUTELY ALL OF THIS~
I derped and was only looking for coolers on one site, which had a poor selection so I am now going to give you a list of cooler recommendations for different price ranges and you can choose which you think would fit you best;
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] - Similar price to Corsair A70 and similar performance but the M9i is a better option.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] - Bit uglier than M9i IMO, should perform similarly, maybe slightly better. Again, similar price and you can expect a mild OC from an 8600k with this as well.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Both around 5250Rs. Both decent mid range coolers that should let you get a decent OC from the 8600k, with either of these. I'd take the H7 if I was choosing from these 2 though.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] - 6000Rs, just a big meaty cooler. Not a great choice IMO, but it's an option if you want it.

I haven't seen many(if any) higher end air coolers in India, and especially at reasonable prices. So what I said above may still apply, you might be better off going for a 240mm or 280mm CLC AIO if you really want to push the 8600k as far as you can. Again though, you can always upgrade later, the M9i would be fine for now and the Cryorig H7 would be perfect, even if just a placeholder.
