They won't reset leaderboards and more than likely just let it die out. It sucks but that is how modding goes.

Yes the numbers are low but you could still find games on TDM, SnD, and DOM. The numbers are higher on players on PS3 cause they do not have backwards compatible on classic CODs but other PS3 games are on PS4 so a lot of PlayStation users play on PS3 to play the classic COD games plus it's free online as well. I feel like backwards compatible games ruin the player base on games, like it'll be high for a bit then go down on XB1 don't get me wrong I still love all CODs that are backwards compatible on XB1. Anyways I feel like it's time to move on and upgrade to the next Gen console or PC can't live in the past forever playing old games I enjoy the new CODs a lot but old CODs like BO2 will be missed!

The way the game is now is basically how MW2 and COD4 were, all just modded like crazy and nothing will happen anymore since the game is so old.

I feel your pain man, this is one reason why i dont even game anymore, cause everyone cheats ffs. Like even on the Xbox One people having modded ww2 accounts now

This is also why if MW2 becomes BC I won't play it cause of all the dermal lobbies.
