Its hard to determine worth to be honest, if you dont mind spending the money and finding out the game isnt for you after an hour then go for it but if no then what i like to do is find gameplay or a stream of the game and watch it muted so you can see what its like to play

Apparently EA are already planning to drop support for BF2 as early as this christmas so idk whether it would be worth buying.

I'm not a huge fan of the game plus the servers are pretty dead on PC at times

I played the game a lot during it's beta and it was a lot of fun, and then they added pay to win elements and it turned me off of buying the game. I haven't played it since. I have been told they took the loot boxes and pay to win elements out, but players that already got the good stuff got to keep it so there is that. I think they messed up the game adding in pay to win elements and even though it's fixed now, there is still remnants of it. I would buy it at the reduced price just because the beta was fun and the game seems to be better since having things removed, just keep in mind that that stuff still exists from player to player.
