Tokyo Ghoul:re

I just watched the most recently released episode of Tokyo Ghoul:re! This isn't a review by any means, and is simply a thread for me to dump my thoughts on this latest episode and Tokyo Ghoul:re as a whole.

So first off, I just want to say that, I WANT KANEKI BACK. Wake up you s-rated sleeping Ken. I can tell we are closer to getting Ken back. Sasake is getting lost in thought and encountering Ken in his mind. In addition, he sees Touka, Uta, and Nishki. I think these are all hints, if not actual evidence, that we are gonna see Sasaki break, and we'll see Ken back.

If you guys haven't heard Re will be split into two cours, and I'm guessing we'll get Ken back at the end of this first cour. I think something interesting is that Haise's hair is getting a little blacker as this season goes on.

Ahhh, and I also want to see what happens with Hinami, while she is in custody. I'm hoping she gets through to Ken. I want to see more of Touka too, miss her T_T

I think it's also interesting to note how last season, aka root A, was not cannon to the manga, while Re is cannon to the manga. So there's a few differences here, and it also helps to better understand Re, if you've read the manga. The manga shows how important Hide is, and basically how Ken loses his mind, and his memory is erased.

Okay, so there's some of my thoughts on Re and the latest ep. I'm really enjoying it so far :3

Im hoping next ep Ken gets his Memory Back from when he got the Package with his Mask and Book from Touka I have a feeling theyll be what will unlock his memory.

Im fairly sure it was anyways from what she said at the coffee shop to Nishio and Uta at the end of the ep of doing it her own way.

idk hinami might bring his memory back its gonna be Hinami or Touka but when he does come back i think its gonna get way better then it is currently tbh

Currently Haise is having a lot of self conflict over his past and his hair is basically black at this point (instead of like half black half white). I guess this means "Haise" is taking over even though Kaneki is popping up more and more lately.
